COLD & COMPRESSION THERAPY UNIT

As is well known – decreasing the temperature of the injury area as soon as possible after the injury, to some extent, reduces the consequences of an undesired incident. Cooling the damaged area in the next several days after the injury also reduces swelling and pain and improves blood supply to the area of injury – which measurably translates into faster recovery and shorter rehabilitation time. It is no different after orthopaedic surgery. The cold & compression therapy unit – in addition to classic cold therapy – offers pneumatic massage and continuous circulation of the cooling substance. This results in even more effective resorption of oedema and better cooling of the tissues – even those located deeper. It is a must for acute and sub-acute conditions of all injuries to the musculoskeletal system.
